Thirteen Lebanon Valley College students recently represented the College at the annual simulated European Union (EU) parliamentary session in Washington, D.C. A culmination of the disciplinary perspectives course, DSP 380: "EU Simulation," the trip was organized by the 12 colleges and universities of the Mid-Atlantic European Union Simulation Consortium (MAEUSC).

Nineteen Lebanon Valley College students recently attended the University of Maryland, Baltimore County Undergraduate Research Symposium in the Chemical and Biological Sciences. The event was hosted by the College of Natural and Mathematical Sciences at UMBC along with the Department of Biological Sciences and the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry.

Lebanon Valley College is a four year residential college and believes that an LVC education is the result of distinctively curricular and co-curricular experiences in class, on campus, and in the residence halls. Approximately 1,200 LVC students live in the residence halls on campus each year.

Lebanon Valley College's Wig and Buckle Theater Company is pleased to announce their upcoming production of the musical "Curtains," a "musical comedy whodunit" opening Friday, Oct. 24 at 8 p.m. Since 1935, Wig and Buckle has performed musicals and plays for the enjoyment of LVC students and members of surrounding communities.

Lebanon Valley College's Pride of the Valley marching band is made up of 151 members representing 24 different academic programs. The fall 2014 halftime show is titled "Decimation of the New World."

A Resident Assistant (RA) oversees a floor or wing in a residence hall. The RA serves as a resource for residential students and provides a residential environment conducive to the overall development of students. The RA role encompasses programming, administrative, and student development responsibilities.

Twenty-one Lebanon Valley College science majors participated in the "Disappearing Boundaries" Summer Research Meeting at Elizabethtown College on July 17, 2014. Founded by LVC professor Dr. Wally Patton, the meeting is specifically designed for researchers in the region to come together to share their science.

Lebanon Valley College students compete at the highest levels as college athletes.

Lebanon Valley College has selected 60 students to serve as Valley Ambassadors. Valley Ambassadors tour prospective students and their families through LVC, where they have the opportunity to see the academic quad, a typical classroom, a dorm room, and the athletic fields, while providing knowledge of The Valley.

Lebanon Valley College is recognizing its high-achieving first-year students for receiving scholarships from the College. Among the incoming class of 448 students, 63 percent rank in the top 30 percent of their high school class; 12 students were valedictorians; 52 percent of students earned a scholarship worth half-tuition; and five students received the full-tuition Allwein Scholarship. Students who earn a place on the Spring 2014 Dean's List at Mary Baldwin College must have grade point averages of 3.50 to 3.74. To be eligible, a student must be a degree candidate and must have earned at least 12 semester hours for the grading period.

Kutztown University has confirmed the graduation of 1,293 students. Commencement exercises were held May 10; however, some students had additional time to complete graduation requirements.

Elizabethtown College recognizes the students who earned acceptance into Alpha Lambda Delta, a national honor society for first-year students.

The new executive board for the Mansfield University Student Government Association (SGA) has been elected. The new board will serve during the 2014-15 academic year. The Mansfield SGA was created by and for students. SGA conducts its business and engages in projects that are dedicated to advancing the overall quality of the total learning experience at MU.

Kutztown University has released the names of the 2014 Spring Semester Dean's List. The list includes 1,759 students. To be eligible for Dean's List, an undergraduate student must be registered for at least 12 credits and have a minimum grade point average of 3.60.

Lebanon Valley College has announced its Dean's list recipients for the spring 2014 semester. Dean's list students must maintain a GPA of at least 3.4 out of 4.0.

More than 1,600 students have made the Spring 2014 Dean's List for academic achievement at Coastal Carolina University.

Over 1200 students were named to the Dean's List at York College of Pennsylvania. To be eligible for this honor, a student must be registered for at least 12 academic credit hours and earn a semester GPA of 3.50 or higher.

Over 700 students received degrees at York College of Pennsylvania's commencement exercises on May 17.
